This is the only one dimsum restaurant that you go to here in the SFValley, this is the reason I am grateful. The noise, the people and the the fast pace of the service reminded you of HK or Macau.

A and W Seafood Restaurant

There are many &#39;Build your Own&#39; pizza shops around, this one is by far my favorite. Friendly staff, clean environment, great ambiance. We got the Mediterranean Pizza with added Canadian Bacon and Mushrooms. It was so delicious, we are adding this restaurant to our monthly visit. They have sauces you can have for dipping in the side. We chose the Basil Pesto and Ranch.

I finally tried Pita Pockets in Northridge while waiting for paint samples to be made up at the Dunn Edwards in the same shopping plaza. Though it&#39;s 8 miles from my home, I will visit often for dine-in and take out, because the food, the portions and the atmosphere are wonderful. The chicken shawarma plate, with delicious rice, simple salad, excellent hummus and fresh soft pita is a bargain at $10.90 (includes tax). There is enough for 2 to share, the flavor and texture of the shawarma are superior to that prepared at many other &quot;fast food&quot; Israeli establishments I&#39;ve tried, and, to top it off, the service is so friendly. The menu includes lemon chicken, a variety of meats for kabobs, falafel, gyros, Lebanese, Greek and Israeli salads, grape leaves, vegetarian plates, fresh-made Laffa bread, dips and of course baklava and Turkish coffee. It&#39;s popular for a reason. Enjoy!

We like their gyros - tender, tasty meat with lettuce, tomatoes and a creamy sauce, wrapped in soft pita bread. So large and filling ... it&#39;s hard to save room for the baklava that you should try at least once! Their spanakopitas are also quite good. A bit expensive, so we only stop in about once a year, but it&#39;s one of the few Greek places around and, sometimes, you just have to have a gyro!

King&#39;s is a landmark burger joint, but the owner&#39;s son trained to be a sushi chef. He is an outstanding chef who creates amazing dishes. The outside of the restaurant belies the delicate treats waiting within. I highly recommend this truly unique dining experience.

DIM SUM - little dumplings filled with goodies - hard to find a good dim sum restaurant outside of Chinatown or Monterey Park - but A&amp;W is a gem of a place, just west of the CSUN (Cal State Northridge) campus. Service is quick, since you&#39;re served off carts full of food which are rolled around the room. Getting refills on water or tea takes a bit longer. Very reasonably priced; and the food is outstanding. We&#39;ve been here 44 times in the last 6 years so, clearly, we&#39;re fans! HINT: the earlier you get here, the better the selection.

Been here several time and most recently Feb &#39;16. The dim sum was quite good. Not Monterey Park good but the best I&#39;ve had in the San Fernando Valley. The pot stickers were a little cold but other than that everything was fresh and the calamari was outstanding.
